Wir, die Schülerinnen und Schüler der Klasse 6c, fanden die Aufführung in unserer Schulaula sehr gut und lustig, da die Schauspieler das Stück „Maid Marian“ sehr lebhaft aufgeführt haben. Die Darsteller haben mit viel Freude  eine spektakuläre Aufführung gezeigt. Es wurden auch Kinder, die sich gemeldet haben, mit auf die Bühne geholt, so dass sie Teil der Show wurden. Zeitweise war auch ich, Merle, mit auf der Bühne, und es war sehr lustig und eine schöne, unvergessliche Erinnerung so vor einem großen Publikum mitzuspielen. Ich, Pia, fand das Stück auch sehr gut, weil es alles gut zu verstehen,  abwechslungsreich und einfach toll war. Mary, also Maid Marian, hat eine sehr schöne Stimme und eine tolle Schauspielergabe.

Sehr lustig war auch, dass die Schauspieler sich nach dem Stück kurz auf Deutsch vorgestellt haben. Und die Songs, die selbst vom White Horse Theatre geschrieben wurden,  haben uns auch besonders gut gefallen. Insgesamt hat uns das Stück gut unterhalten, es wurde nie langweilig.

Eure Merle und Pia (Klasse 6c)

On 18th June 2025, the White Horse Theater came to visit our school and performed different plays on stage. We, the 8th grade, saw a play about a German girl who has to visit a school in Brighton to improve her English skills and later meets a boy with whom she falls in love. They both visit London together and have a great time with each other until the girl flies back to Germany. But don’t worry, they promise to see each other someday. This was a great experience for us because we improved our listening skills on a fun way. It was also a nice difference to the normal class and I’m sure that the most of us enjoyed it. At the end we could also ask the actors some questions. White Horse Theater is an event that occurs every year with mostly new groups of actors who perform wonderful plays, so don’t miss out on it!

Euer Timo (Klasse 8)

This Wednesday our school was visited by the White Horse Theatre, a group of four actors from Great Britain and Canada whose native tongue is English. They performed Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" in old English, similar to the original play. Students from the 10th grade and the E-level courses attended the play and got to experience classic literature in a vivid and engaging way. Even though the language was difficult to understand, in combination with the captivating acting everyone was able to grasp the core of the plot. It was a refreshing alternative to traditional classroom teaching and provided an interesting insight into classical theater.
